Executive Summary

We are living in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing environment. During the past decade, health, education, water and sanitation have achieved unprecedented prominence as key drivers of socioeconomic progress, and more resources than ever are being invested in these areas. Yet More than a billion people, one in five of the world's population, live in extreme poverty. Ten million children die before their fifth birthday, most of them from preventable diseases. More than 113 million children do not go to school. Many organizations in the world are working together for achieving MDG (Millennium Development Goals), for achieving sustainable development, however no country or organization can, on its own, meet these Challenges. That’s why we at i2i Consults work as part of the global community for achievement of these goals. i2i Consults is a creative organization engaged in providing sustainable solutions for Capacity building in various health, education, water and sanitation sectors. Our consultants, while working on individual projects, have always strived to create the necessary structure for working closely with other multilateral agencies so as to minimize duplication and also to leverage on the work of other development partners.

We work in partnership with multilateral institutions such as DFID, UNOPS, JSI/Deliver, USAID, Crown Agents, WHO, EU Prime, World Bank, CIDA, Global Fund, UNFPA and various governments, civil society, the private sector, NGOs and others.

We have a panel of distinguished Educationists, Health Professionals, Procurement and Supply Chain Management experts and a group of experts in Water & Sanitation solutions. i2i can handle various types of projects in our core areas.

Recently, i2i entered into a joint venture with VFM Logistics, a UK based company for working in development sector. i2i has a team of highly experienced IT consultants who can design/manage large databases and provide web solutions for various projects.

At present we are working with DFID to for managing the Health Commodities Project (HCP) in Nigeria on their behalf. We are working closely with Crown Agents, who is the implementing partner. This is a 30 million Pound project. We are responsible for overall project management on behalf of DFID.

Institutional Capacity

i2i Consults has been working closely for several years, with various Governments Donors and Multilateral Agencies in Asia and Africa. We are working in Health, Education, Water and Sanitation Sectors. We have been focusing on policy development,  programme & project management, procurement and supply chain management, demand generation, communication, training and development, organizational development, change management , financial management and auditing .

Our consultants have worked in development sector as well as corporate sector. This gives them the unique advantage of applying the best practices of both sectors in the projects they undertake. Some of the leading corporate sector companies our consultants have worked with are Hindustan Unilever, Johnson and Johnson, Frito Lays, Pepsico, Tropicana, Cargill Foods, Coca Cola, Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, Apollo Tyres etc.

They have substantial experience in living and working in a number of developing countries - India, Nigeria, East Timor, Mali, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Iraq and Botswana etc.

Our consultants have extensive experience in the field of Health and Social Services. Our panel of consultants consists of Doctors, Engineers, MBAs, Mathematicians, Statisticians, Operation Research, Procurement, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Educationist,  Finance and IT.

Besides these, we work with various international associates to meet the specific needs of the projects.
